I got a whole lot of music from my friend Risa the other day, most of which I haven’t even got to yet. One I thought I’d mention tho (because I am listening to it right now) is this album by Piana on Cubic Music, which is a quite quirky, simple, childlike, dreamy piece of work with soft Japanese female vocals by Naoko Sasaki. It bears comparison to Gutevolk, which I believe I mentioned the other day, and not so coincidentally is part of the same (small) roster on 12K’s Happy label on the US side of things. There are a couple song samples on this page.
