Berlin Bragile

Flyrec releases the debut album from its latest artist, Miho Folio, entitled Bragile. It’s quite good, and if you don’t believe me you can hear samples on their website. Something looked really familiar when I spotted it in the store today, and, ohhh yes, that’s Hiro’s illustration on the jacket. Hiro moved to Berlin a few months ago and is apparently illustrating Japanese album jackets from outside his own country…

Polypunnnnkkk
Digiki and Mai Ueda team up to bring you a super fresh mix, Polypunk 10, available from Digiki’s site! I am particularly a fan of the original collaborative track featuring Digiki beats with experimental jetsetter Mai’s wonderful Osaka-ben floating overtop in a one-sided telephone conversation. I wish they’d make an album like this (hint, hint).

What's Been Going On
Wellll, I've noticed it's been a long time since I've had anything to say here. Not sure I have any specific feelings on that matter, but what I have been doing is just passing the days, getting the work done, and then going out to play!
Live performances I've seen lately:
キセル (Kicell)
Mas (VJing as usual)

Takagi On Apple Pro

W+KTokyoLab artist, collaborator and friend Takagi Masakatsu’s profile for Apple Pro has gone live and can be viewed here. During Apple’s recent Japan tour they also spent two days at our office shooting our profile, which apparently will go live in September... After which time I will be world famous. Ahahahaha. Stay tuned.
